Candy Cane Lane in Woodland Hills has been a community favorite since 1952. It is one of the top Christmas light displays in Los Angeles California. Located in the west part of the San Fernando Valley, take 101 freeway and exit at Winnetka Avenue. When you see Pierce Junior College, you will know you are in the general vicinity. Due to crowds and traffic jams, residents have asked in the past that visitors view the homes between the hours of 7:00PM and 9:00PM, definitely no later than 10:00PM during the week and 11:00PM on weekends. If unable to get past the traffic jam, you may also park and walk, thereby enjoying the displays leisurely by foot. If you are lucky you just might see Santa eager to take pictures with children.

Another top Christmas light display in Los Angeles is the Altadena's Christmas Tree Lane display located on Santa Rose Avenue between Woodbury and Altadena Drive. This particular light display has been a tradition since 1920. Visitors may view the Christmas light display beginning the second Saturday in December through January 1st, 2007, between the hours of 5:30PM and 9:30PM during the week. It will be open until midnight on weekends. To get to Christmas Tree Lane, take the 134 freeway in Pasadena and exit Fair Oaks traveling north to Woodbury where you will make a right, and then a left on Santa Rosa Avenue. Santa will be available to take pictures at the corner of Mariposa and Santa Rosa Avenue. The 134 Italian Cedar trees are decorated annually transforming the area into the magical Christmas Tree Lane. There are also usually Christmas carolers in the area making this one of the best Christmas light displays in Los Angeles.
